Park It !

There are a lot of words that mom can't say out loud around me.  She has to spell them out till I learn to spell.

 Park is one of them, unless she wants to elicit frenzied activity with whining and howling of course.  She generally waits till we are very close to said location before uttering the sacred word.

                                                        Such is the plight of an only dog. 

                                                       Do I detect some Pee Mail?

    Luckily mom understands and does her best to get me doggy interaction as often as possible.

 

Once a month they have an evening bonfire get together by the lake.  Good ole' die hard Alaskans!

Nice view to look at, food and drink, warm fire.  Sounds like fun to me.  Mom says we can't stay because we have to get home to take care of Grandma.   That's OK with me, Grandma is fun too.

                                                    

                                   OK mom, my feet are cold.  I'm ready to go home now.

It was a snow covered sunny day at the Park.  Now I'm headed home for some chow.  Hope all my friends are having a great day as well.  Catch ya later!

Searching for Signs of Spring...

Most of my Blog Buddies are enjoying the first days of Spring...greening grass, early buds and flowers.  I am searching for signs of Spring too...

                                                        Oh Drat, no signs of Spring here.

Humm, somebody want to send some of that Spring our way?   It seems to be hiding from us again.

He he, just kidding.  I meet this cool guy at the Park.  Yup, mom wrapped up my leg and I'm back in action!

                  Never caught his name but he was a barrel of fun, I coulda played with him all day!

My dew pad is slowly healing.  Mom has ordered me some leg protectors. She will show them to you after we test them out.  They are coming from the UK.  So I'm back in the game and enjoying our new three inches of snow, more coming!

                                                                 It is just perfect!

                 It says on the collar that I am "All Boy".  Mama picked that out cuz I'm her boy!

                The little heart says that it was made with love.  That makes it even more special.

Do you have a "Look a Like" in Alaska?

We ran across this little pup at the dog park and we had to post it cuz it looks so much like Bea from 'BCX4 plus one more' 

Granted this pup is a boy with blue eyes and is a mix breed rescue but the expression, eyebrows and ears makes me think Bea!

One ear up and one down like the Beaster!

                 So Carolyn, what do you think.  Does little Bea have a relative here in Alaska? 

             And in the above photo the dog playing tug of war with Ryker resembles Shiva a bit.

    Good news, I got my cone of shame(mom calls it the cone of healing) and dressing off today!!!

I have one stitch left at the top.   I lost most of my thick and rough outer pad.  Mom thinks she may have to protect it somehow when ever we do rough play.





                         But right now I am one happy camper!   I got my freedom back!

Oh, the shame

     Well,  now I done it.  I got caught chewing at my surgical site.  Oh, the shame of it all!  It itches!

Mom promised me a leash walk with some of my friends tomorrow for Valentine's Day.  With out the cone of shame, thank goodness.  A guy can only take so much embarrassment.

Hello, can anybody see me in here???   I wonder what my Valentine Sagira is up too. Hope she don't see me like this.  I asked my Mom to post some pretty pictures of our Orchid flowers that never stop blooming for her to enjoy.

Bored into a stupor

                                        OMD am I bored being on activity restriction

                                                                    Will this ever end???



                                  Mom says I am doing real good. Only a week and a half to go.
 So as I am dwindling away here she is playing with her new toy that she just set up on her desk.

                              Now she can blog away while watching the waterfall and fishes.

She says it's a Fluval Zero Edge 6 gallon Nano Tank and she got it on sale at Pet Smart.  The little fish are cute and fast.  I tried to bite them several times but only managed to slobber up the glass.  She is going to get some cherry shrimp to add to the little tank next week...hope I can eat those. I like shrimp!
