Hilltop

We headed up into the the mountains that look down on our fair city.  It was a crisp fall afternoon, the air smelled of cranberries.

There is nothing better than running wild and free in Alaska!

It is only a 15 minute drive to all this beauty from our house.

Since we were up there it has snowed, and we got a few flakes down at our house on the 19th of October.

Mama says it time for her to put the snow tires on the car.  Winter will be here any day now.  I don't need no stinking snow tires...I'm ready now!

Only Two Left!

That's right, the puppies have been going out to their new homes and the only two left are my mom's two favorites.

Just control yourself there mama.  I'm the only boy for you!  But I agree they are cute!

Summer projects completed

My mama worked on a few  projects this summer.  She had a boarder poured around our dry stream bed mound in the front yard. Here are the results...

It helps keep the bark in place and looks pretty cool.

She also designed and helped build a privacy wall on two sides of the deck that face the street.
Phase one

Phase two

She has be saying she would post these for over a month now.  Better late than never!

Help feed hungry dogs!

I am a lucky dog, I get the very best grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free, organic raw meat (with bone, organ and a smidgin of vegi's.)  Bravo Raw is what I mostly eat plus some Ox tails, Chicken backs and wings, and lots of meaty raw bones to gnaw on.  But some dogs are not so lucky, some dogs go hungry.  The thought of it makes me shudder!
But here is an opportunity for you and I to feed some of those hungry dogs.
