We headed up into the the mountains that look down on our fair city. It was a crisp fall afternoon, the air smelled of cranberries.
There is nothing better than running wild and free in Alaska!
It is only a 15 minute drive to all this beauty from our house.
Since we were up there it has snowed, and we got a few flakes down at our house on the 19th of October.
Mama says it time for her to put the snow tires on the car. Winter will be here any day now. I don't need no stinking snow tires...I'm ready now!

More Alaska memories for me, I can't believe I've forgotten how beautiful it is!! When I first came to Alaska it was October 14 (1988) and it was snowing! I'd left Kentucky and it was like 80 and sunny...What a shock for me!! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sure does look beautiful, but I'm not ready to start thinking about snow! I'll save that for after Christmas!
