My mama worked on a few projects this summer. She had a boarder poured around our dry stream bed mound in the front yard. Here are the results...
It helps keep the bark in place and looks pretty cool.
She also designed and helped build a privacy wall on two sides of the deck that face the street.

Beautiful work...nothing better than being outdoors and seeing the works of your endeavours...I love blue spruces and lost 3 of them this summer because of too much rain or something...had to take them down...had them for 20 years...so sad...anyway, we'll find something to replace!
