I had a very interesting and fun day! It all started outwith three presents left on the floor by the cats I presume. Must have been a busy morning for them!
Then mom took me to the Horse Festival down the road and I got to see horses! Whoa, they are big like moose but more friendly.
Missed a great photo op when I went into the Miniature donkey pen. Three little donkeys rushed over and sniffed me up and down and all around. They were really cute but I wasn't sure what to make of it all. It was my first donkey encounter! But I think I like those little fellas, they sure seemed to like me!
Then we went home and mom set out the sprinklers so the flowers would grow.
Next we went for a walk in the park behind our house...
Hiding in the fiddle head ferns!
On the way back we saw another moose, about a year old.
At first he was curious...
Then he got annoyed and told us to back off. So we made a wider path around him and headed home.
On the way home I saw the scariest thing all day...it was black and round and it was moving. I circled around it but it frightened me when it would move and then I would bark at it. I never did figure out what it was because mom called me and I had to go and leave it behind. I hope it's gone when I go by there again.
We checked the flowers and the grandma. Mickey was keeping GM company while we were out and about having a busy day. What a good kitty.

ReplyDeleteWell, the black thing was a balloon!
ReplyDeleteWe see Moose at least weekly here in my area of Anchorage. Our neighborhood is surrounded on three sides by parkland. My favorite thing is to listen to the Sandhill cranes in the evenings, they are amazing and make the most interesting sounds, rather mournful and eerie.
