Since I've learned to swim mom takes me to the lake more often...
Here I am with Heidi the yellow lab and Lucy the St. Bernard. Lucy doesn't swim but she is so big she could probably walk across the lake! I am way out there with my stick.
I don't like to get my face wet. I paddle extra hard to keep high in the water.
Look Mom, both the ball and a stick!
What a fun day you had! It's so cool that you can swim in the lake and you're a swimmer!

ReplyDeleteWow, a ball and a stick!
Gotta tell you, that water looks really cold.

What a beautiful lake!! and YES that looks freezing!!
ReplyDeleteHow did you get Ryker swimming??? We finally just got ace to wade in the river, but he avoids the deep parts like a disease!
Response: Yes, it was cold. 58 degrees F outside, not sure about the temp of the water but it was windy too. Ryker did not want to come out of the water to give me his toy because of the wind.
ReplyDeleteI got him swimming by going in myself and calling him out into the deeper water. He was not interested as a pup so you might wait till next summer with Ace.
That's so cool that Ryker's a swimmer! I took Bandit to a dog park yesterday we'd never been to before which had lots of spots for swimming, but he'd only go to the edge and take sips of water. That looks like a great lake for him to swim in.
ReplyDeleteB-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! (i hope thats how you spell it) LOL. Such pretty dogs. Wow!
