A Christmas present arrives from Florida!

                                            Tuesday evening I received a package from Florida.

                                               It says it's from my friend Rudy Roo!




Oh cool!  He sent me a Christmas card with his picture and a bully stick...and look, there is even something for mom and dad!


     Ummm, look how thick and spicy it is. Gator sauce, now I gotta find me a gator to put it on!  Do you think this will go with my raw diet? Oh, that's right, this was for mom and dad.  I get the bully stick!


                                                                I love these things.



                                                    Thank You Roo!  You're the Best!



                        Hah, there's Karma peeking out from under mom's coat watching the action!




Bet she wishes she could have my bully stick.  No way Karma, it ain't gonna happen!  Go ask mom for some of that catnip you like so much.

    How exciting to get a package in the mail!
    I'm guessing that Gator Sauce is HOT!!
    Karma just wants you to THINK that she wants your bully stick, you know, that's the way cats are...
    How's the raw diet going, have you just switched recently? I just finished hacksawing my way through a 25 lb turkey for the dogs here. I think next time I'll just stick to smaller turkeys.

    That sure was nice of your friend to send you a package.

    How long have you been on the raw diet and how it is going? Our breeder keeps questioning us feeding Bokeh Orijen but we believe that is a really good food.

    We are fairly new to the BARF diet. It makes a lot of sense to me. We are still in the learning curve. Tonight it is Ox tails again, one of his favorite. He has had problems with cooked chicken and turkey so that is an issue since most of the good bones are things like chicken necks, wings and backs. I am still digesting a lot of the information.

    We love bully sticks!! I bet you had fun eating that!! My Dad uses hot sauce on lots of stuff, but it sounds icky to me!

    How sweet of Roo! Karma is a pretty kitty. I don't have a cat now, but I had 2 black cats in past years. She definitely looks interested in your treats.

    Awesome! Roo is a prett good gift-giver, I'd say. Be sure to tell us all about that sauce when you get the nerve to try it!

    Raw turkey and chicken may not cause the same problem as cooked.
    We feed prey model, which is roughly 80% meat, 10% bones and 10% organs, half of which is liver. There are rawfeeding groups on Yahoo, and lots of advice out there if you need it.
