Some fog rolled in and left some frost behind.
Other than the biting cold it's a beautiful walk through the woods.
Ryker as always seems totally unaffected by the cold. Must be that high metabolism. I was like that growing up here, but as I get older it seems colder.
Today it is just the two of us and the quiet disturbed only by the crunch of snow beneath our feet.
Oh so peaceful.

Okay, I have to go get my Dad and show him this post. He just loves close up pictures of ice crystals and all things snow. We have to live vicariously through you this winter, since we are having Juneuary!

All that snow sure is pretty...but man I'm tired of this cold already. Come on April! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful indeed. The frost in really cold climates is so different than here. We usually just get a thin layer of it. I've never seen the thinker, crystalized frost in person. It's very pretty and interesting to look at. I need to remember it when I gripe about our cold weather. Stay warm. It's good to know that Ryker is basically unphased by it. :)
