I live in a house with four cats. There are bound to be some bugs, mice and birds killed. However, at least one of our cats just likes to play with them. She will bring them into the house alive, the birds fly around and poop all over the place, the mice run around and play hide and seek, the bugs, well they usually get eaten. Mom does have a big collection of dried dragon flies though.

Today mom spent three hours trying to catch a little mouse Karma brought in. He was a fast little guy!
Eventually she caught him and returned him to the forest. Another life saved. So far that makes three mice and one bird saved this summer. Keep up the good work mom!

Tee hee! Once, when Mom was just a puppy herself, she saved a baby mouse from her dog, Snoopy. It was stunned when she saved it and not moving. She took it in and asked Grandma to guess what she'd found. When Grandma ran out of guesses and Mom pulled that little mouse around in front of her and it was moving around Grandma screamed loud enough to wake the dead. She threw the mouse out the window, but Mom snuck out and got it again and set it free in the barn where Snoopy couldn't get it. Their catch and release program wasn't as smooth as yours!

That has to be the cutest mouse I've ever seen :D Good job Mom fur savin the lil fella :) Bet Karma really gets a kick out of watching you chase the critters around BOL!
