Lots of tongue action going on this week!
What is almost gone? The snow!
Here is the last little patch, it will be gone tomorrow.
More flowers are blooming and the grass is turning green.
“Lenten Rose” (Helleborus orientalis) is actually a member of the buttercup family. Its flowers bloom during the Christian celebration of Lent, hence the name. Originally from the Caucasus Mountains, helleborus has long been a favorite in the U.S. This perennial, early-blooming wonder is a joyful winter buster.
And what am I up too?
Duh! Need you ask!
A dog needs a good drink after a hard round of Frisbee.
.
Mom says she has twenty one days left, not that she's counting! BOL! Those puppies are adorable! Are you sure you don't want a little brother or sister?

I love your drinking fountain and the picture of you with the frizbee is GREAT..... What kind of flower is that?
ReplyDeleteThat is a Hellebore or lenton rose, not really a rose. It is a early bloomer and oh so pretty. Mama made that fountain out of some long bamboo stakes she got at the garden store.
