  2. Hi Ryker!
You are so very lucky to have such wonderful visitors come to see you, those Moose sure do look really friendly and tame, I like all of your photos especially the one with you looking at the Baby Moose eating the rose hips! I am so happy that you didn't bark at them, you are very good Ryker! I'm so jealous of your snow, I wish that I had snow, all we have here is wind and rain, I do not like walking in the rain! Love and Licks from your Furiend Frank xxxxxxxxxxx

  6. WOW -- What great photos, and what a cute little boy!!!! I really miss seeing the moose, and your photos remind me of why I do, and why I loved Alaska! In our 10 years there, I never got tired of seeing them! What great fun -- But weren't you just a little nervous with their being so close? :-)!!! Hope all is well, and I hope your holidays are off to a good start. THANKS for a fun post!!! Take care!!

    1. Hi Kim, Yes, I love all the wildlife up here. I had a railing between the Moose and I so felt very safe. I would never walk up to one on bare ground although I did as a child once...thought it was a horse till I got about 6 feet away. The Moose just looked at me and was unfazed, lol.
