I don't like getting a bath...
But when the water goes off and the towels come out I go nuts and have a ball!
After a good rub down mom shouts "Toweley" and I run to my big towel and roll, wiggle and squirm like a little maniac!
I jump up, spin around, shake, and then throw myself back down on my towel and do it all again. Mom and Dad laugh and laugh at me. We all have a fun time!
The cats all run and hide. They just don't get it.
Now if we could just skip the soap and water stuff it would be fine with me. Mom and Dad ohh and ahh over how good I smell and how fluffy my coat is. I feel special : )
Baths aren't all bad.

ReplyDeleteWhy is it that a bath is so much different from leaping into the creek to fetch a ball?
Luna has only been bathed twice since we've had her, but if you so much as look at her as you are heading into 'that' bathroom, she puts her tail down and heads the other way.
Yes, a freshly bathed dog is lovely and fluffy and nice smelling:)
Hehe! You are very much like Mika! He hates his baths but LOVES the post-bath time when he gets to run around all crazy and rub himself on the towel!
ReplyDeleteWe are the same way! We hate to get in the bath, then just sit still during the bath, but after the bath-we go CRAZY!
ReplyDeleteDo you look like a big puff ball after a bath? Mack looks like she has gained 10 lbs after a bath- but then her puff settles and she is back to normal.
Same with Indy...if the bath is agony, the afterbath running & rubbing surely must be ecstasy.
