  5. Wow, we don't have anything as exotic as moose eating our pumpkins! Here we throw them to the sheep or chickens, and they make short work of them.
I was wondering if you had any snow yet, I see you got a little bit. Is it late this year?
That second to last shot of the moose, WOW! that should be framed!

  6. Hi Ryker,
These photos are just wonderful, you live in such an incredible place, I wish I lived with you in Alaska, Mum said she wants to live there one day! I may have asked you this before but do you have a whole month of darkness there? I just love all of the beautiful wildlife! the photos of those Mooses eating the pumpkin is PAWSOME and the close up, BOW-WOW I just love them, they are magnificant creatures and their antlers are lovley, I wish I had them living in my back yard! I love the picture of you in the snow with the pumpkin, have you got a lot of snow now?
Love and licks from your furiend Frank xxxxxxx

    1. Well, not a whole month of darkness but we do have a month or two where the sun comes up at 10am and sets at 3pm so if your going to work indoors its dark when to go and dark when you return...feels like total darkness! Way further north they do have more extremes.
It was 4 degrees out on my drive home yesterday and we have about 6 inches of snow and more on the way!

    1. When I was about six I walked up to one on my way home from school thinking it was a horse (we had horses nearby). That moose just looked at me judged me as harmless and went back to eating . Once I got within 3 feet I realized it wasn't a horse but a moose and backed away.
