Life has been hectic at our house. I have two bad knees, Dad has his issues and Mama is planning out new house that is about to be built.
The Vet got me all ready for surgery but I did not react well to the medicine given so we had to cancel and he gave me a lot of fluids to flush it out of my system. Took me till 9pm before I was acting right.
Now I'm sporting a fancy new hair cut!
Here I am on my Birthday! Nice cake mama!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOO MEEEEEEEE!

And here are some ideas for the new house....

Hope you are all enjoying spring weather. It has warmed up here and the snow is melting fast. Muddy and wet out with lots of sunshine. Mama says I can't run till 12 weeks after my surgery which is scheduled for May 8th...Grrrrrr.
So I want all my friends to get out there and run around for me!
No running til August what a bummer. I hope your surgery goes well! Tell your Mama she needs a janitors sink to wash a dog or a cat HA HA in that new house. I saw there is a doggy door!! Love the guest bath colors...what fun to have a new house! :)

Also, how exciting about a beautiful new place to call home! I'll look forward to seeing it all come together!
Well it doesn't look like your new house will be a retirement home in the Okanagan! ;-) Exciting though, but not sure that I would want to go through it ;-) Too many decisions to have to be made. Poor Ryker, and poor you with his confinement/rehab after the operation. Scary about his reaction to the drugs, does he have the MRD1 gene issue? If he has two bad knees, maybe another surgery in this future? Yuk. Always worry about ACL tears with my dogs. Jake had a stretched CCL at one point, but it just required a bit of time and no playing fetch etc. Hugs to you all!
Happy Birthday, Ryker. We hope you had a wonderful time celebrating your big day. That is a big steak you have there. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day. World of Animals
