I was just minding my own business playing Frisbee in the back yard with Mama and who should appear...
but another one of them pesky moose. I am not a big fan of moose invading my home space.
It just kept on coming with it's head down, not sure what that meant but I finally dropped my Frisbee and high-tailed it up onto the porch.
It walked right up to my Frisbee and gave it a good sniff. Guess it was wondering what all the fuss was about. It did not seem as impressed with my toy as I am. Silly moose! Mama says they aren't very bright.
.
The moose looks big and scary, Ryker!
ReplyDeleteBut you're a brave boy! I hope your frisbee is still there waiting for you to play with it again.
Hey Ryker! Dude! You're a herding dog! Just tell that moose-ka-teer where to go! Presumptuous jerk!!
ReplyDeleteCoyotes are bad enough. Sheesh!

ReplyDeletehope you guys are doing ok.
love and licks
Well, you know My Vickie thinks they are the most precious looking critters ever and she was very excited to see one in your backyard. Boy you are so lucky. We have to drive up into the hills and hike an hour to see ours.
ReplyDeleteHowever. You did right by leaving the frisbee and going in the house. That one was a very curious over your game. I want you to be safe, but I am also glad your human got those cool pictures.
You are such a lucky dog.
Bert
Pretty cool to see the moose so close, but it scares me to think of the damage it could do to you Ryker with those big feet. Seems a bit too tame for my liking. Viewing through a window seems to be the best option:)
ReplyDeleteWow!! I cannot believe you two were so close.
ReplyDeleteI think you did the right thing, getting back to the house!!we have moose over here but it comes out of the fridge you can get it in all flavours :)
ReplyDeleteHave a good week
See Yea George xxx

Critter Alley
I think you could take him Ryker, but it's ok to wait it out indoors. No need to show him up or anything. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat moose probably thought you had a big pancake or something yummy. Poor thing must be hungry, maybe he wants to come in for dinner.
ReplyDeleteWyatt
oh Ryker you made the cutest face running from that Moose!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you didn't get goosed by that moose Ryker pal :O
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Ryker Mom! :D
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Oh Ryker. That looked pretty darned scary! We have moose here (I captured one with my trail cam last summer) but nowhere near as many as you do. And, everyone tells me that moose are more dangerous than bear or cougars. I'm glad that huge moose didn't hurt you, Ryker. Wow.
ReplyDeleteWow...that was close! He sure was interested in what you were doing! I can't believe you have so much snow (we have none, zip, zero) and moose visitors! I think it's rather boring here.
ReplyDeleteI think you did the right thing---that moose looks like something you don't want to tangle with! Maybe it thought your frisbee was something good to eat....
ReplyDeleteHow do you know he didn't want to play Frisbee WITH you? :)
