Week two at the Big House

A little unsure of himself, so many new things and no brothers and sisters to follow.  Sweet as can be and full of kisses for everyone. Soft and cuddly like a stuffed toy!

Ryker loves his Grandma! But he wants to know how many cats live here?

My Grandma is very special!

Exploring the great outdoors...

peekaboo

Ryker's First day in his new home, Anchorage, Alaska. Age 8 weeks

We had a great day at the Dog Park! It was sunny and 18 degrees. Blue skies, crisp air, no worries of over heating today. Took a walk on Connor's Lake.

Ryker made some new friends and met up with a few old ones.

Met this adorable little French Bulldog puppy and her two dads (above)! They had a sled with a bed and blanket for her. What a little cutie she is!

Ended the day with this beautiful sunset, and these colors have not be enhanced.

Fruitcake

Another Christmas Ryker Tail...

Every Christmas my Cousin in Texas sends us a very tasty Fruitcake from the Collins Bakery. This year the Postman ran the bell and then left it on the front porch in front of the door. It took awhile for Horst to get to the door. When he did all he found was an open packing box and an empty tin.???
Next day Ryker was poopin' pecans and apricots!  Clever little piggy!

So long Christmas lights...

Here is Ryker during the holidays disrobing our outdoor lit up Christmas Tree!  We bought a second set of lights after he chewed up the first set...guess we didn't learn the first time. Should we try again next year?
He did not touch the one inside the house.

Nice homemade soup on a cold Winters day

During holiday break I cooked up a big pot of vegetable soup. Ryker must of liked the way it smelled as it was cooling on the counter. Somehow he managed to snag it. Oh, what a mess!  I was able to scrape most of it up and he ate it over his kibble for the next week...luck him,  guess crime does pay! Hated to see it all go to waste so at least someone got to enjoy it.
