Earlier today I saw Corbin's long face because his mama went to work and left him at home.  I could relate to that. This is my sad face while I await mama's return...

Get off the porch!

Mom said get off the porch and lets go check out the bald eagles.  We have a mated pair of eagles in the next neighborhood that have been there in the Cottonwood tree for at least three years now.  So off we went.

Oooh, that is a big nest up there.  And while tromping thorough the woods we found the remains of a rabbit that was most likely eagle food.  Cool!

                                          Wow, there they are!

Why are they looking at me like that mom, tell them I am no Chihuahua!

Mom said not to worry, that I was a bit big for them to consider me a meal.

Maybe I'll join the Audubon Society and become a bird watcher.  This is fun!  Hey mom, lets come back here again and check on these guys.  Maybe we can see the babies next month?

Happy Mother's Day

I know I am a day late, but I just wanted my mama Gracie to know that I didn't forget about her.  Happy Mother's Day Mama.  I Love You and Miss You.

We are having a Celebration of my mom's life on Mothers Day.  After that we have less than two weeks of school left.  It will be time to get out in the garden and that is always therapeutic.
I am an only child of two of the most wonderful parents a girl could ask for.  They didn't spoil me except for love. Bought me up with good values and an appreciation for all that life has to offer.
Mom has lived with us for seven years so she leaves behind a big empty spot that I am trying to fill with wonderful memories, of which I have a lot.

I lost my ID tag at the sports park this winter.  Mom had Urban Puppy make me a new one and it arrived last night.  So after my romp in the mud (yes, things are still muddy here but should be drying up soon),  I got a bath and mom gave me my new collar and tag.  Check it out!
