A runnin' and a sniffin'

Mom and her friend K started out their day with breakfast at a wonderful little dive called Judy's. Home cookin' and always a line to get a seat.

They are gonna need some energy to keep up with us as we head to the South Anchorage Sports Park.  It is about 40 acres of ball fields, soccer fields, paint ball area, woodlands and trails. It has warmed up to 36 degrees and the snow is wet and sloppy...at least we'll have good traction.

                       Hummm, some dog has been here before me.  Better read this Pee-mail!

                                      It's the bigger the better when it comes to sticks!

Mom has been taking me out at night for walks lately...not good for photo taking.  Mom says she has been meaning to post these photos so here they are. Maybe we will take a day excursion tomorrow.

Snow Covered Alaska

                                 Yup, we got some snow alright, and I couldn't be happier!

                                                     Now all I need is a stick for mom to throw.

                                                         This one will do in a pinch.

                                                 Oh Man, it is really pretty up here today.

                                Where did that stick go?  I think it's under here somewhere...

                                                        Hah, I found ya!    Gotta come up for air.

Cabin Pup

We got a little snow this weekend at the cabin.  Time to get out the skis and snowshoes!

I have a new fun place to play!

Since going to the Cemetery on Halloween we discovered an area toward the back that is just made for play.

It has rolling empty grass covered hills with short grass, soon to be snow covered. It is the uninhabited part of the Cemetery...Cemetery in waiting. 

 Absolutely great for ball throwing and frisbee and with mountain views you can't beat! We had a really fun time playing ball and next time mom says we will bring the frisbee. There was a lot of camera flashing going on but that is a given!

     

                  We had a little hail storm while we were there...check out these mushrooms I found !

                        After all that fun ball time it's time to pay up and pose for the flash box.

                 What are you doing laying on the ground there mom?  I'm tryin' hard not to attack you and lick  your face...you know I can't hold my licker!  

 I'm goin' for the aloof handsome look...kinda Bogie.  Cept' I got something on my chin, just ignore it would ya?

                                        Oh, I can see my breath. 31 degrees out this afternoon.

Hope you all aren't  bored with all the photos but mom started this blog as a way to organize and store all her favorite photos of me...she seems to like them all!  Good grief.  Mom, your a nurse...ever heard of Triage?
